CFL.ca transactions show that the Argos released DE Thomas Costigan yesterday (?) and Canadian LB Daniel Kwamou was added to the roster then deleted?
I thought Costigan had been released months ago.

I plan to be at Sunday's practice. If there is anything of interest I'll put it on this thread
Anyone going to share how Cam Dukes looks? It's obviously important that he hits the ground running.

Ticats cut DT Mo Diallo - former 3rd round pick and Toronto native - sign this guy please. Would also take a look at another Ticat cut in receiver Terry Godwin.
Just returned from the Training camp. With so many players, some with numbers we couldn't find on the roster list and perhaps some number changes, it was a little difficult to get an accurate read on too many players. But here are some very personal observations:
. As others have pointed out Kelly was not present
. Mital did not practice but was on the sideline and looked fairly healthy. Perhaps he picked up a twinge in the rookie camp.
. Dukes looked the best of the QBs but Scott did throw some impressive passes.
. Brissett, Coxie and Daniels all made some very good receptions. Of the newcomers IMO Malone was very impressive. He appears to be very quick and have excellent hands.
. Franklin was playing CB with what looked like the first string secondary. He certainly did not look out of place. Metchie picked off a nice deflection and looked very confident with his play. With so many DBs it was hard to pick out who played the best but Pierce looked very good.
. Unless I'm mistaken McFadden spent time playing SAM. He has the size and mobility for the position but we will just have to wait and see.
. Every RB looked good. There is a lot of speed and quickness in the group. Adeboboye was dressed but I did not see him practice. Wonder if he is fully over last year's injury.
. The starting D line looks like Orimolade and Smith at DE and Ceresna nd Oakman at DT. Now that group should cause problems for any O Line.
As I said the above is a highly subjective and personal view and others may have different observations.
I wonder if the new DCs will deploy as much D-line rotation as DC Mace did? But that main 4 you mention should be very powerful; and I still think Brinkman can be a real force at DT in the CFL, plus like to see what draft pick Tyson Hergott can bring at DE.
McFadden moved to S-OLB (to replace Pickett) is interesting, but that would mean even more inexperience in the D-backfield perhaps; and I wonder where free agent T. Adeleke is going to line-up - surely they didn't sign a vet play-maker like that just for depth ?
The MLB competition should be interesting and I wonder if they might have some thoughts of deploying McManis there some ?
Was DeShawn Amos present?
Good summary, but Adeboboye did practice, maybe not in scrimmage or skelly, but looked very good running routes and catching the ball. Pinball talked to my group for 15-20 minutes during stretching time. He said Mital tweeted something in rookie camp, but hoped he’d be back soon.
It's us vs the rest of the country
A quick number update to clarify an above observation...
Tarvarus McFadden is now wearing #4, Quincy Mauger is wearing #20 and playing the SAM. Apologies for any confusion caused by that. I'll give the interweb folks a nudge to update the numbers. Thanks.
Other than the Canadian rookies, any potential rookies stand out? Possible rookie starters or is the lineup pretty much “set”?
