The same thing is true of this post. Such irony! The ironing is delicious. A CFL stats junkie could maybe do some research - the last 20 years or so - and find any CFL season long starting RB who has an average/ carry as weak as 4.1; OR - a starting, oft targeted receiver who has only caught 50% of...

Argos had the "Pixie Dust" last year. Tre Ford has been exposed & Harrison Frost is mediocre. Argos bounce back on the road. Hamilton is toast. The Ticats offence without Bovine throwing lots of passes is very ordinary to mediocre or useless; this Rountree guy they keep trotting out a...

Well, the Argos had this one until they didn't. Credit to the Riders on the half time adjustments but there were plenty of moments where the Argos gave away momentum. Credit the Riders for what? Calling a hard count on a FG attempt was a brilliant gambit I don’t recall seeing before, and it may hav...

Harris hasn’t looked good in recent games. Without Ouellette their run game is awful. They are missing key receivers. The Argo D is starting to really gel, and The Chad looks like he’s getting more comfortable with this offence. I smell a statement game.

Lame reply.. 60s and 70s offences are never coming back. Try living in the present, old man. I'll suggest you actually learn to watch and understand football; instead of trotting out feeble cliches you were sold - Glen Suitor or some other expert told ya ? Cliches is ironic. You've been using the s...

Ford after all, is the 2nd Canadian trained QB to actually get to compete for and gain real playing time in the "radical" league in around 50 years or so (Greg Vavra won the Stamps starting job out of TC in 84 and then ended up on a couple of other CFL teams for a bit). Every half century...

If it has a grass component, it has a dirt component. And yet no mud, no slipping and not even any noticeable divots. Sure, the technology helps, but grass doesn’t get this pristine without careful tending. Actually these modern hybrid fields don’t use dirt, the grass grows on a deep layer of crush...

The field conditions were incredible. It was Gorilla Monsoon rain coming down. I saw no ponding, pooling of water anywhere, even on the artificial turf in the endzones. Don't recall anyone loosing their footing. The field was pristine green at the end. No mud or bare patches. Amazing. This is a gre...

It seemed to me that the run game got going after Kolankowski started playing on the offensive line. Perhaps he is familiar with the Hamilton defensive line sets, but for whatever reason the run game got better. Surely part of the reason the run game was better is because the backs were better. Smi...
