I assume you're being facetious, but my understanding is that PR players are not obligated to accept any such offer from another team. I don't think Coxie (or any of those guys) would voluntarily leave the team at this stage of the season to join a team that has a tougher path to the Grey Cup and a QB who has been inconsistent all season.Don_from_Dryden wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2026 4:21 pm If I were the Bombers Damonte Coxie would be on a plane right now.

I'm also prepared to make him the highest paid receiver in the league. The plane I was talking about him being on is a private jet.paulwoods13 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2026 4:40 pmI assume you're being facetious, but my understanding is that PR players are not obligated to accept any such offer from another team. Just saying he would not be hurting the Bombers lineup.
Also do not underestimate Zach Collaros imo. Goes along with the position I'm sure but he takes a lot of undeserved criticism that other players are contributing to.
Personally, I am hoping for the Stampeders to get in and the late season games are not doing me any favours. I point to the schedule again when Calgary faced Montreal back to back early in the year while Sask avoided them until late in the season.

This can't be a serious discussion, but since I started it I suppose I need to entertain it. Coxie would improve ANY lineup, even Montreal's. He's also a good teammate, and not the type of guy who would jump teams at this stage of the season.

The Argos doing their best to make Montreal feel over confident in case the Argos do go to the eastern final.
Someone should point out to Luke Willson that the words "mean nothing game" apply to the standings. Of course individual players are trying to stand out in the hope of being back next year. So far I haven't seen anyone on the Argos side look impressive.

Highest paid receiver over Tyson Philpot ??? - sorry, i really like Coxie but he's not even close to as good an all-around receiver - hands, YAC ability, route running, IMO. And there are several other CFL receivers as good or better (again, IMO). Mind you - this is a CFL where some "observers"/ commentators still refer to Kenny Lawler as "league best" type - guy who is not even in the top 20 this year, with a continued real bad catch to target ratio. Whatever - to each his own.Don_from_Dryden wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2026 4:49 pmI'm also prepared to make him the highest paid receiver in the league. Montreal played more starters and the Argos went deeper into their roster, including at the QB position. Tucker Horn looked decent and Dymere Miller looked great.Unplayable wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2026 8:26 pm The Argos doing their best to make Montreal feel over confident in case the Argos do go to the eastern final.
