A 5-11 QB out of Div II ball should not spell the end of any QB on a CFL roster; but, bring on the TC competition and maybe this guy is a real diamond find.
I doubt the Argos will bring 6 QBs to the main training camp. Perhaps, they will wait until after the rookies and QBs do their camp before making a move.
Tucker Horn didn’t really impress in any of his appearances, and he’s not a candidate for short yardage QB, I can’t see him sticking. Doege was acquired when we desperately needed a #2 QB with CFL experience, but everyone knows his ceiling by now. I can’t see him sticking.

I’ll be shocked if Max Duggan is not the #3 this year, the short yardage guy, and the “QB of the future”. He‘s such a good ball carrier maybe Miller builds an RPO package for him too.
I have been thinking similarly. I think that Duggan has the inside track at #3 with this new QB potentially being #4.

Well Canada has no shortage of CIS stadiums. Pay players $500 a game, expand to 20 teams. Wouldn't hurt the product.
I wasn't aware the Utah Mammoth, the Athletics and dozens of soccer and rugby teams around the world who started out in smaller venues were only paying their players $500 per game. Had I known that, I would have kept my thoughts to myself.

Let's just keep messing with the rules then.
I guess all I was trying to say Issues, is let's not follow anything that the UFL does....my apologies for coming across as condescending.
Fair point! We should not be following anything the UFL does.

Thanks for responding Issues. That unruly thug ARGO57 made a smarty pants comment towards me in the UFL thread that really infuriated me & I took it out on you.

This is a good sign. I know a few of us were concerned about the lack of communication coming from Chad Kelly, so I'm glad he is putting himself out there and making some statements.

I don't know about you guys, but the first few weeks of watching Chad play is going to be like the final few Ricky Ray years. Every time he was sacked, tackled or involved in a pile up it was hard to watch because there was always that fear he would be hurt.

At least we won't have to be holding our breath in person . . .

Sometimes the truth hurts.
A UFL intervention maybe on the horizon as well.

I might have to put my friends and family on notice in case I pass out from all the breath holding.

Yeah I’ll be holding my breath too, but at the same time, I think it’d be a mistake for Miller to pull the reins on him to keep him from getting hit. You gotta let Chad be Chad.

Running with the ball fires him up, and it keeps defences on their heels. Besides, we now know for certain it won’t be a disaster if god forbid he goes down again. Let the big dog run. Our lungs will get used to it :-)

Argos trade the rights to draft pick Luigi Vilain to Ottawa for draft picks. Red Blacks must feel they can sign the Ottawa native.

It sounds like Vilain only wanted to play in his hometown, which is Ottawa. I really want to know the nature of the draft picks coming back to Toronto.
