Ex Argonauts Grey Cup Champions Derek Parrish & Willie Drew are heading to the inaugural "UFL Bowl" as DC bettered Orlando FLA in the semi final game this afternoon in Daytona Beach FLA. They will await the winner of tonight's other semi final game between host St Louis MO & Louisville KY.

Don't forget about Joe Wallace!

The UFL caught a break here as DC is hosting the championship game and they had been fading badly in recent weeks.

Yes, Joe Wallace did spend a few weeks with the Argos last season. I would be remissed if I didn't mention that DC QB Jason Bean has been on the Argos Exclusive Negotiation List since 2024.

The United Bowl was held yesterday in DC, with Louisville downing the host Defenders. Argo Neg List RB Xazavian Valladay ran for 111 yards on 4 carries & a TD. Plenty of expansion talk despite attendance being an embarrassment in most markets.

I didn't even realize until late yesterday that this game had already been played. It's been played in primetime in the past.

Early indications show that another UFL team is on the move. Birmingham Stallions due to lack of interest & an oversized stadium appear to be finished. Without a viable soccer stadium in Alabama, where this team ends up is a good question. Major expansion is still the goal for this league apparently.

It's really called rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
