With all the money BC has spent signing players, one wonders how they will be able to sign Broxton and stay under the cap.

$#!t Fire! The way things were trending this off-season I thought he was a lock to come back.

The Argos have released American RB Deonta McMahon and Canadian LB Stephen Smith.

This is unexpected, disappointing news. I am going to respectfully disagree with you Ravi. Shand still has to earn a roster spot. Season starts in March, so.if he either gets cut, or likely requests his release like many other players, he.could be in TC. I also find it interesting that QB Taylor Elgersma was drafted by Birmingham. He is still trying to line up NFL workouts & hasn't signed with the Stallions, yet they have him listed on the team roster for some reason.

Jim Barker was on the RP.Show Friday. Check out what one.NFL executive told him about the UFL.
I just checked out what Barker said about NFL teams considering UFL players as "filler" or camp bodies only. That makes a lot of sense. Also, the concern about UFL players getting hurt in camp after playing a full season of UFL (10 to 12 games). He also mentioned that UFL players miss the important off-season stuff that happens in the NFL.

They may want to use Logan in a similar role.

Logan for sure is an upgrade over McMahon. Sam Hicks is a very promising RB prospect I look forward to seeing what he can do too. I’m intrigued to see what impact Ka’deem can have on the RBs as a coach this time.

Should be a very interesting week coming up, hopefully the Argos can strategically sign some good free agents to upgrade the roster.

The one Argos free agent whom I really wanted to see the team re-sign was Dejon Brissett. I am surprised that hasn't yet happened. Going on what's happened in recent years, if Brissett is unsigned by Sunday, when he can start communicating with other teams, I doubt very much that he will be back.

I wonder if Edmonton will continue with their sign Argo Canadians for top top dollar strategy
