I did not. Ray never won MOP during his career. Bo should definitely be considered. Throwing for 5,400 yards is a career milestone. He has thrown over 5,000 yards 2 other times on better teams and won the award. Doing it after you are benched and called out by your coach speaks to his mental toughness. I thought his career was over last year. He can still play. Hamiltons problems were not at the QB position. They should think long and hard about moving on from BLM.
I will be surprised if the Ticats move on from Bo or their other QBs this off-season. I think that Milanovich likes what they have at that position. Ben Grant has theorized that the Ticats would take a run at Tre Ford but I just don't see a good fit between Ford and Milanovich.

I too had thought that Bo was done, given that his last good season before this one was 5 or 6 years ago.

Ed Hervey has been mentioned as a potential GM candidate in Edmonton. I am hoping he remains in Hamilton.

Absolute madness that the Elks are interested in Hervey.

Hervey remains popular in Edmonton but I too think it would be a colossal mistake to bring him back. He has not done well, to put it kindly, as a GM since 2016.

I have heard very good things about new Elks President. He is an outside the box hire who Rick Lelacheur went after. Morris may do the same with his GM hire. Definitely want GM and Coach who will be on-board with giving the keys to Tre Ford.

I don't see it that way. If he and Morris work closely, it might be a great move to higher him. It would also be a good first step to re-signing Ford. Stability is important, and then to have a stable group that believes in Ford, might swing it back their way to keeping him.
3DN podcast also speculated that the Elks just might try and poach Campbell out of BC. I would think it might be his dream job to coach where his legendary father had so much success.

I'm not suggesting Morris won't be a good hire, and he appears to be off to a strong start. But I'm having a hard time seeing a guy who played and coached football in Edmonton as an outside-the-box hire. To me that term would apply to someone with little or no obvious connection to the sport or the org -- like, say, Victor Cui.

It's not relevant here, but I'm fervently hoping the CFL BoG goes way outside the box with its hiring of the next commissioner. IMO we don't need another "football guy" -- we need a strong business person who can grow revenue.

Agree 100% on commissioner. We need financial growth, because we now have ownership stability. I thought Morris was outside the box because he is not a business guy. Edmonton has low attendance and sponsorship etc and I thought they would be inclined to get someone from the business community. But for the Elks I like the hire because he is a community football man. The owner can take care of the business side. Morris can reconnect with the community and put good football people in place to get the on field right. Edmontons market is different from Torontos. Start winning and their fans will come back.

I guess the high powered Tiger Cat management team needs Wally Buono’s help in figuring out who to hire as their next GM?
