Embarrassing

As we have seen too many times over the years. the Argos snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

It would be interesting to know what the play calling was both at the 3 min mark and with 30 sec left, compared to what Arbuckle actually did. Bad interception, but they still could have run more time off the clock at the 30 sec left mark when Ottawa just let them run it in for a TD.

It's nice for the Ottawa fans who have supported their team through some difficult times. I don't think Argo fans care too much and just hope they got out of the game without any major injuries.

This loss is on coach Miller. You can't score with 30s left. Burn up the clock.
Hopefully he learns from this.

Should have and easily could have played for a last play FG attempt. Can't give the opponent any time left in today's football.

Some positives despite the loss.

At least tonight's game confirms that the Ticats are still - for at least the next week - the all time worst. No other team has ever lost 17 in a season.

Well, I won't be listening to 3 Down Podcast next week. This loss will have JC & Dunk rubbing thier hands together accompanied by a evil laugh. This will go down as a catastrophic loss if Kelly is out for the Eastern Football Conference Semi Final game. WTF was the Oline doing on those first 2 drives???

So embarrassed.

It's one thing to lose to a winless team. It is another thing to lose to them in the fashion we did. I thought for sure we would try to run down the clock as much as possible before Lirim would win the game for us. I guess coach Miller thought that getting a TD and kicking off, thereby forcing Ottawa to score a TD to win, would be a better option than kicking the FG and letting Ottawa scrimmage from their 40 yard line, only needing a FG to win. We certainly shot ourselves in the foot with that boneheaded roughing the passer penalty on their final drive. Without that play, Ottawa doesn't win. Arbuckle proved again why he is arguably the best backup QB in the league. I don't think any other backup would have been able help bring their team back to what should have been a victory. What a terrible way to lose a game, irrespective of the opponent. Let's hope that Chad's injury isn't too bad.
