It has been reported Sayles earns somewhere around 200 grand. Team probably asked him to restructure his contract and he rejected the proposal.

Wonder if the Argos are interested?

Tim White and the Cats mutually agree to part ways, should be plenty of interest depending on his demands (which have been substantial in the past).

the poor old Pussycats sure have lost or got rid of a lot of starters from last year's 1st place East team: RB Bell, 2 O-linemen. receivers Tim White & O-Leary-Orange from the offence; and Sayles, D. Amos, Veresuk from their defence; and 2nd string QB Powell.

Major re-build needed there, and they added Sunderland as GM ???

Mind you they only finished 1st last year cause the Als had QB injury problems, and the Argos without Kelly and with Dinwiddie melting down crapped the bed. 5 of their wins were against the East bottom feeders Ottawa & TO.

IF new HC RD in Ottawa can mold a good team (a pile of talented FAs added recently), then the Pussycats will be in the East basement - where they belong.

I tend to agree about last year's record being deceitful to say the least. Hamilton feasted on teams that started 2nd or 3rd string QBs & they kept healthy too..that somehow went unsaid amonst the experts. They could have a serious problem at MLB & they lost one side of the Defensive Backfield. Julien Howsare had 6 sacks last year against the Argos (Hampton Ergle), it'll be interesting if he can reach 13 Sacks this season.

Good points. They never faced Davis Alexander until the playoffs and never faced Chad Kelly. That's 6 regular season games right there. They also only faced Dru Brown for one game and a quarter or so of another.

What is the over/under that Jo Levi Mitchell shoots heroin into his veins per game?
