Maybe; there is nothing to say now that any of those guys you mention will get any real playing time though; Shand & Ojo could provide some power to the D-line; maybe; we shall see.

Nevertheless, kudos to the brain trust for the massive improvement to the D-line. It was a Huge weak spot last year, and I think that reflects poorly on both the HC and the GM. What were they thinking loading the line with all those FA leftovers nobody else wanted?

Nah man. Chatfield, Hendrix, Holley, Shand, Kongbo has the potential to be a dominant unit this year. No matter how you slice it there will be more sacks and pressures. And you know what they say about the D-line being the most important unit on any football team…..

I agree Rich, Barker and the gang have done a good job in addressing some needs this off season which bodes well for the 2026 campaign.

But, but the Argos have one of the league's weakest QB rooms ARGO57! I read an article stating that!

Who in the hell said that? They have the strongest QB room in the league.

Marshall Ferguson didn't think too highly of the Argos QBs. Has concerns about Kelly and his consistency. Somehow, Saskatchewan is "Loaded" at that position. If Harris (aka Ned Flanders) goes down, that team is sunk.

Sounds like Rider fans are back in their usual cocky and delusional form. Good for them.

Argo hatred knows no bounds. Wow. Kelly and Arbuckle are the best 1, 2 punch in the league. Nobody has that depth. 2 GC winners. BC are done if Rourke goes down. Edmonton are done, Calgary are done, Saskatchewan are done, Winnipeg are done, Montreal are done, Ottawa are done, Hamilton are likely done. Argos? They win the Grey Cup with either guy.
Where was Ferguson late in the season? Not calling games, thats where.
The only consistency Kelly has when he is on the field is good play. He has played 2 poor games as an Argo; 2023 EF, and 2024 in Ottawa. That's it.

Ferguson has had a long affiliation with the Hamilton Tiger Cats so not surprised by his comments.

I like Ferguson when he does CFL play-by-play for TSN - better than some they've had; but as a writer on the CFL's site, his remarks are often right out to lunch and show a rudimentary knowledge of CFL rosters and are filled with weird or off the wall takes on teams' strengths or needs. How he gets continued work there and why they can't find better writers shows how lame-o that CFL site has been at times (their former fan forum was a joke filled with clowns and haters).

No problem with questioning the return of Kelly to previous best CFL form - it is a concern IMO; but the Argos do have a veteran back-up that most teams do not have. Hardly anywhere near the weakest QB room in the league - BC, Riders, Stumps, EE have more questions marks for #s 2 & 3. The Ticats gaining Ford should help them, and the Als getting Crum adds some talent. Ottawa has both Brown & Maier with CFL starting experience; the Bombers have signed a couple of new American QBs with decent resumes to compete behind Collaros and that guy they had as #2 or 3 last season.
