It was all the refs fault plus the fact the Riders had to play a bunch of $hitty Canadian players. That's what I'm reading - and why am I not surprised at all.
The blame the refs (& Command Centre) AND the "ratio problem" of weak Canadian talent = true hallmarks of CFL homer fan group think.

Very shocked that the Tiger Cats benched Ford and went with Frost in the first place. Sure he isn't the best deep ball thrower, but his scrambling ability is game changing to be honest. Reminds me a bit of Jalen Hurt from the Eagles. Hope we find a way to contain him on Saturday or it's going to be a long night.

Ford is better off the bench when the opponents game plan for the other guy. If a team knows Ford is starting, he is not nearly as good. He's been that way his whole career.

If the Argos can contain Ford and maybe force an INT or fumble out of him early, good chance Scotty M hooks him and puts Frosty back in. The Ticats O has some decent but nothing special receivers but I hope Scotty sticks with this Rountree guy at tailback and his horrible 4.2 yds/carry getting all the work at RB in their offence. I would spy Ford (needs to be somebody really quick - maybe like Slwyka) and if Frost is in , blitz him basically every play. No way that offence should put up lots of points on an improving Argo D unless it's Ford scrambling plus making some big deep throws as he has shown he can do.
The Ticats D OTOH has some real good play-makers (McManis & Stubblefield at LB are outstanding and Katsantonis, Peters & Talbert are IMO 3 of the best at their positions in the league); their D-line is nothing special though. Hope Chad does not throw up some poor decision picks and also that Argos guys with the ball in their hands keep it secure. Limit turn-overs and i think the Argo offence can put up points against them.
Hope it does not come down to a FG battle, cause Lidster is still a bit iffy.

Except against Greg Quick's D.

A spy is a good idea, but there's little chance of it being Slywka since they're not taking out Pickett, Darkangelo or Judge. IMO Pickett would be perfectly capable to spying him, if that's the way they go.

The Ticats run game with the ultra mediocre Rountree featured is nothing to worry about. I'd move Judge to MLB (quicker and better pass defender or blitzer than Darkangelo), and let a fast guy like Slwyka play at W-OLB (they had a former safety and 202 pound Goss replacing Judge earlier); Pickett needs to be more free to do all-over D play-making IMO.
Smart coaches know how to game plan with specific personnel vs. an opponent's strengths or weaknesses; sticking with our guy - at most positions - who is not a great all-around player - just because that's how we work, is dumb football IMO.

Let’s see if Quick learned anything from the last time the Argos played Hamilton.
I agree with your assessment of where Judge is best suited to play.

He did at halftime.

Ticats lose again, in Calgary, to a team starting J. Love at QB. What a wasted opportunity.
Coach Milo, why take out Ford in the very last minute for a stone cold backup QB
You are going to take a lot of heat for that one.
