It has been confirmed that the Birmingham Stallions are being located to Pawtucket RI for the 2027 season. The team will play In a 10,500 soccer stadium that will draw 2,500 fans.
Maybe Peter Griffen and family will get season tickets. RI is close to Quahog. Who else but Quagmire?gilthethrill wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2026 5:30 am It has been confirmed that the Birmingham Stallions are being located to Pawtucket RI for the 2027 season. UFL fans are insisting that since New England is close by, that all Patriots fans will automatically become fans of this team.AngeloV wrote: ↑Sat Aug 22, 2026 12:19 pmMaybe Peter Griffen and family will get season tickets. That's remarkable!gilthethrill wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2026 2:15 pm After being signed by the Houston Texans a few days ago , it appears former Argos DE Derek Parish has made the roster.
I suspected that Parish requested his release in the offseason so he could play in the UFL in an effort to gain an NFL opportunity.ArgoRavi wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2026 3:34 pmThat's remarkable!gilthethrill wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2026 2:15 pm After being signed by the Houston Texans a few days ago , it appears former Argos DE Derek Parish has made the roster.
That would make sense. I was surprised when the Argos released him.gilthethrill wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2026 3:39 pmI suspected that Parish requested his release in the offseason so he could play in the UFL in an effort to gain an NFL opportunity.ArgoRavi wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2026 3:34 pmThat's remarkable!gilthethrill wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2026 2:15 pm After being signed by the Houston Texans a few days ago , it appears former Argos DE Derek Parish has made the roster.
And the Argos still want him. We don't know exactly why he was released in the off-season - whether the Argos were doing him a favour or found him lacking. If it's the former, then he could very well be back. More depth on the d-line wouldn't be a bad thing.Scooter McCray wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2026 4:04 pm He could rejoin Argos, if there are no other interested parties in NFL.
