Demario Houston is starting for the Bombers tomorrow night. Why is there no suspension or outrage for him? What he was accused of (and originally criminally charged) is far worse than what Chad Kelly was accused of (with no criminal charges)?
I agree. Houston's wife also initially reported a history of domestic abuse so this should be very concerning to all.

Just not a high profile player, so they sweep it under the rug. Different rules for different players.

I wonder if the league will go to the expense of having an independent investigator look at Houston's case. Given the precedent set by Kelly's case, if there isn't one then if I was Kelly then I would file a lawsuit against the league. My son, the lawyer, has told me that labour law doesn't look too kindly on different standards set for employees of the same organization.

Worth a listen IMO: Stegall & Sanchez discuss Zach Collaros on their 'Paper Plates' podcast.

Zach should consider retirement. Even Matt Dunigan got to that stage eventually.

Tommy Connell reportedly the next Winnipeg OC.
At this point not sure if this is an upgrade over Jason Hogan who has been widely criticized for their offensive performance in 2025.

They appear to be reloading not rebuilding. Hopefully Taylor Elgersma gets there by spring. If he goes the UFL route instead of CFL he needs to give his head a shake.
