Adarius Pickett Ottawa’s resident mouthpiece out for the season with an Achilles injury.

He is a very good player. The league is better with him playing. I was looking forward to a playoff matchup versus the Argos.

I really wanted the Argos to beat them with Pickett in the line-up. Now I can’t trash talk him when they do.

Masoli taking first team reps in practice for Ottawa in advance of the Thanksgiving day game. vs. the Als.

Als have first wrapped up - might they play soft / rest guys so Ottawa can win and get East semi home field - might come into their thinking cause i bet they fear the Argos more than the RedBlacks? I think Maas will still play his first stringers ( I sure wouldn't).

Think game is sold out in MTL so it might be difficult for them to mail it in. Will be interested to see if Masoli can turn it around after fighting injuries.

I think this is the last game Als go all in. Looking to make a statement with a beat down of a divisional opponent. Especially the way they have been playing for the last month. They need a convincing win to feel better about themselves heading to the East Final. Ottawa is just too banged up it seems even with all of this time off.
The Ottawa/Argo game next Saturday looms large.

Redblacks will be on a short week next week, just like the Argos were when they played in Ottawa in September.

That's right 5 days between games. Ottawa got at least 3 teams at home on 5 days. The shoe is now on the other foot. If both Montreal and Toronto beat them, blow them out, they will be on the road in the playoffs in complete disarray.

RedBlacks just got rid of the incompetent clown B . Miles as DC.

I was about to call my season ticket rep and tell him I would be holding off on renewing and waiting to see what happened with the coaching staff there - and the totally clueless Miles had to go; so today I had the good news, and put tickets on hold for next season (with a price reduction, plus season tix holders get a further discount for them not hosting the play-off game that is originally included in seasons')
