Heads up, no Lakehore West GO train service for the Sept 13 or Oct 4 games.
https://www.gotransit.com/en/the-future ... nstruction
(Looks like you could still come from Lakeshore East, as far as Exhibition. But no trains on Lakeshore West between Oakville and Union.)
That's especially bad for Oct 4 vs Hamilton where Lakeshore West trains would be even more full of fans than usual.
I applaud all the fans that actually go to the home games, despite the constant, never-ending roadblocks. Cancelled train service, home games moved to other cities, parking taken over by other events.... No other fan base gets dumped on like this.

Amen. Some like to say the fanbase cant be rebuilt. I don't believe that. If we had an owner that cared which we haven't in decades fans would come back and fill that stadium.

Interesting that that would happen when the Jays are at home that weekend.

I guess we can now say we are not the only team that suffers this abuse, but it's going to make getting there even more difficult.

So true, just scheduled maintenance, no conspiracy theory. That day will be a mess traffic wise.

To remind all here. Tailgating at Argos games has saved my sanity. We drive down early, arrive say 10am for 3pm game. $18 to park lot 852 right beside stadium. Pull out the lawn chairs and relax with no rush or traffic to deal with. Cook some burgers, have some drinks, run the old Jays bases or throw the football if my nephew comes, etc.

Better option, if you can..... TTC subway to Dufferin and then Dufferin bus (or as my son calls it, the loser cruiser) to Princess Gates. I have done it and it is not too bad a way to go.

I'm not sure how this aids anyone coming from Halton or Hamilton.

I'm figuring on driving to Islington and then subway from there. I was planning to go to Bathurst and take the streetcar, but will look at Dufferin as well.
