Calling for rain in Ottawa on Friday.
Hope the Argos rest some key players.

Who knows, if the Argos wisely rest some key players or at least limit their participation anything can happen.
But I agree, play hard and show the ex Head Coach who’s boss.

Bryson Barnes, likely to get the start versus Toronto. First start, who knows what you're going to get. Argos should be sitting anybody remotely injured. Probably sitting every starter they can against Montreal as well.
Who cares if you're the stat vs Ottawa. The Argos are going to have tough games in the playoffs and will need to beat 3 good teams to win another Grey Cup. Get depth players real experience, rest key starters, and work on fundamentals in these next 2 games to be at their best in playoffs.
That should still be good enough to beat Ottawa, and a Montreal team doing the same thing at home.

Gonna be interesting to see how the coaches play these next two games. I wouldn't want to give guys *too much* rest, or to show everything in our playbook. Some rest and some playing time for starters, but vanilla gameplans would probably be the way I'd go.

They're just coming off a bye week, too, so I would be playing everyone who is able to play in Ottawa and only resting players the following week.

More than i like, but hardly more than a lot of other places in Canada, as far as I know.
Have sat thru some bad downpours sitting in the lower North stands there; should be a sparse crowd at best this Friday, so could always try to move up to the covered upper North stands.

I lived in Ottawa for half a dozen years, and have lots of relatives in the area.
I believe that Ottawa broke records for the amount of rain they had this summer. Usually in October/November they get 7 or 8 days of rain per month
The early weather forecast is for rain on Friday but sunny with clouds on the weekend.

To no one's surprise, Greg Quick will be game planning for Ottawa rookie QB Bryson Barnes this Friday night under the street lights at TD Place.
