Game Thread: The CAL-GARY Stampeders at The Toronto Argonauts. The Hoedown in Hogtown!

[Unplayable]

The defence played very well against the Stamps, but I still have some concerns as the season wears on. Ten games to go, 5 at home, 5 away.

Lemon is playing well, but he is 37 years old. Can he physically hold up for the rest of the season and a play off run? I can't find a snap count list but it seemed like he was on the field a lot. This is something else the offence can help with. Sustained drives, eating up clock time so the defence isn't on the field as much. The turnovers will hurt a player like Lemon if he has to play a lot of snaps.

This is a great point. Keeping all those d-linemen (but especially Lemon) rested could be a key to success. It would be nice if our offence added the ability to control the ball, in addition to the big-strike capability it already has. A greater commitment to the run would help, but after giving Hicks just 81 offensive touches in eight games (plus 33 more for Smith), I think we can be pretty sure the identity of this team is based almost entirely on passing.

Really enjoyed the game... so great to be back at an ARGO / CFL game.

The J.C. ARGO shirts they gave out are very nice....

Saw a person wearing a Schooner Jersey... Cool.

Having any sort of band really takes the atmosphere up a notch IMO .... I liked the band at the Ticat game... Great job by MLSE to get Sully Burrows. He has a really great sound...

The third down stop late in fourth quarter was amazing.

Stadium is great but it doesn't make up for giving away a Rider / Bomber / Ticat game... IMO.

Lookin forward to Ticat game... Need everyone out .... its time to PullTogether.

Go ARGOS !!!
