I think the probability is close to 0.0.Don_from_Dryden wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2026 5:39 pmAny chance he gets an NFL offer?Scooter McCray wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2026 6:03 amNow I feel better that Kellys contract hasn't been extended. NOT!

Luis Perez has had his number of NFL opportunities. Many more than Kelly did, yet not being half the QB Kelly is.ArgoRavi wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2026 3:04 amI think the probability is close to 0.0.Don_from_Dryden wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2026 5:39 pmAny chance he gets an NFL offer?Scooter McCray wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2026 6:03 am Now I feel better that Kellys contract hasn't been extended. It's got next to nothing to do with talent and more to do with NFL connections - current or former coaches, agents. Besides, Kelly may have burned some bridges down there (don't really know?)gilthethrill wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2026 5:38 amLuis Perez has had his number of NFL opportunities. I'd be surprised if Chad got another NFL call but you never know; and his CFL outstanding QB play and passing means basically zip to most NFL super-experts; Chris Strevler made and played for a couple of NFL teams, and not because they saw how great a passer he was in the CFL.

Anyone wondering about where Janarion Grant got the arm, his uncle is former major league pitcher Mudcat Grant who was the opening day pitcher for the first year expansion Montreal Expos back then. I believe they lost to the Mets.

And a lefty at that. CFL field is 65 yards wide. That throwback was a 40 yard heater. Great play, great call, perfect time.Don_from_Dryden wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2026 4:35 pm Anyone wondering about where Janarion Grant got the arm, his uncle is former major league pitcher Mudcat Grant who was the opening day pitcher for the first year expansion Montreal Expos back then. Re: 2026 In Season Transactions
I had to research this. His MLB career spanned from 1958-1971. His career batting stats were 6HR 65RBI & he won 145 games with 119 loses with 53 Saves. He went 21-7 for Minnesota on a team that lost in the World Series. He passed away in 2021. They don't make nicknames like that anymore. Gotta ask, how did you know this was Janarion's uncle?Don_from_Dryden wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2026 4:35 pm Anyone wondering about where Janarion Grant got the arm, his uncle is former major league pitcher Mudcat Grant who was the opening day pitcher for the first year expansion Montreal Expos back then. Who the NFL calls and who they don't often doesn't make much sense.gilthethrill wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2026 5:38 amLuis Perez has had his number of NFL opportunities. Many more than Kelly did, yet not being half the QB Kelly is.
Re: 2026 In Season Transactions
And here I was thinking sharp/smart football scouts actually watch other football/players to determine who has the talent/skills to draft or sign and give a real try-out to; but the NFL super sleuth scouts leave that all up to the agents I guess, at least with regards to CFL talent.
