Oh and by the way, thanks to ownership for sh*tting on season ticket holders yet again. The latest outrage is the team announcing that a ticket for Saturday’s game will get you into the Blue Rodeo concert at Budweiser Stage, um, ah, except for all you pathetic loser STH, you get nothing. No perks, no concert, no championship ring, no nothing. It’d be pretty sad if it wasn’t so infuriating.

This is not true. There was a buy-one-of-each promotion, but nobody is getting into Blue Rodeo with just an Argo ticket.RichK wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 4:59 pm Oh and by the way, thanks to ownership for sh*tting on season ticket holders yet again. I think mostly I’m just bitter and frustrated about 2026 like everyone else around here. At best the wording of the promo was a bit misleading to dullards like me. But I still think ownership doesn’t give a flying fig about the STH. Wow our gift this year is one free ticket each. How thoughtful and generous.paulwoods13 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 7:29 pmThis is not true. There's plenty to be bitter about, starting with the 2026 scheduling abomination. To be fair, most orgs have not been nearly as generous as MLSE was to STHs. Rogers is merely coming back to the pack on this.RichK wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 10:35 pmI think mostly I’m just bitter and frustrated about 2026 like everyone else around here. It's too bad. I assumed they were just playing the CNE bandshell as Loverboy did the week before. I have seen Blue Rodeo at Budweiser each of the last 2 years. They are greatRichK wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 4:59 pm Oh and by the way, thanks to ownership for sh*tting on season ticket holders yet again. As for Perks, I got an email from the team this week with bonus tickets for any of the remaining games. I already used them. 2 for the Edmonton game and 2 for the Hamilton game, as I have 4 tickets, and you get 1 for each season ticket.

Unfortunately Rich I suspect this is the new normal with Rogers ownership.RichK wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 10:35 pmI think mostly I’m just bitter and frustrated about 2026 like everyone else around here. BC is dressing 9 D Linemen tomorrow in anticipation of a run heavy Argo Offense. But as a comic in all seriousness, with Jordan Williams out, I am concerned about Pelley (J-Min, not Keith) & Corriea at DT in support of Lanier.

I don’t think J-Min Pelley has the stamina to play regularly TBH, I have different concerns with the other Pelley.gilthethrill wrote: ↑Fri Aug 22, 2025 4:58 pm BC is dressing 9 D Linemen tomorrow in anticipation of a run heavy Argo Offense. Fairly low expectations tomorrow, just going to enjoy the game and banter with my son and “the clique”.

Should we expect Butler to have a big game today, with our inability to stop the run?
