Re: Edmonton Elks
A fan who fulfilled a lifetime dream of owning the EE. Truly sad he only had one year. RIP. It sounds like his wife Deb will continue to own the team and fulfill his dream.
Make Clemons President!!!
Re: Edmonton Elks
Doesn't look like it will be sold. His wife has been a co-owner, I believe, and seems to have every intention of continuing her ownership.ArgoGabe22 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 7:25 pm RIP Larry Thompson.

Condolences to the Thompson Family. Sad, that Larry didn't get the own the Team for very long, he had been a fan since he was a kid.

Nice crowd at Edmonton tonight... ( was good crowds earlier at MTL and Bombers) . If Elks had switched to Cody sooner IMO they might have been in play offs... Cody is pretty good... Elks Defense seems to be coming around... maybe its because of all the ex ARGO's they have...
Re: Edmonton Elks
The ex-Argos are mostly injured. It's their own recruits and draft picks that are improving that defence. I can't see Robbie Smith being back in Edmonton next year without a pay cut.ARGOFanIan wrote: ↑Sat Sep 27, 2025 8:41 pm Nice crowd at Edmonton tonight... I agree Ravi, Hervey’s spending spree didn’t pay off at all.ArgoRavi wrote: ↑Sun Sep 28, 2025 1:12 pmThe ex-Argos are mostly injured. The high priced ex Argos have flopped. Even Coach (flap my gums) Maxie couldn't do anything with the talent he inherited.
