Good catch there argolio. Moving forward. In looking at the recent signings of rookie Americans, I noticed 2 players, OG Rush Reimer & RB Elijah Young participated in the 2025 Buffalo Bills TC. Is it possible former Argos front office employee Vince Magri put these 2 players on the Argos radar?
Also quite possible Bills co-scouting director and former Argonaut Director of Player Personnel Curtis Rukavina gave the Argos a heads up as he has close ties with Jim Barker.

New coaching staff offering a fresh perspective on the existing roster, no issues with this move.

Argos looking at going O Line with #2 pick?

He better not surface elsewhere in the CFL.

Like Hamilton?? I wouldn't be surprised if he surfaced there. With Dominic Picard being the new O-line coach, perhaps he saw something that he didn't like while the running backs coach. Maybe Doxtater was also on a fairly high price tag?

With Hunter at LG and Shepley at RG, Doxtater would probably have been a backup. As a result he may have been asked to restructure his contract and if so, it looks like he refused. That is just a guess but probably not far from the truth. This year's draft is fairly rich in OL players. It is possible they think they may pick up a good OL player in their #11 or #16 selection. There may even be some hidden gems in the second or third round.
It should also be noted, they still have Dankwah, Vandal, Bosse and Coakes under contract.

Yep - still plenty of O-linemen; - IF Hunter & Shepley are pencilled-in at interior = still lots of depth; over-indulgence in drafting O-linemen - creates a log-jam 2 or 3 years down the road. NO need to go O-line this year with early draft picks, unless they see a bona fide almost instant starter at OG - could allow Shepley to play OT, perhaps; but i bet that will be pencilled-in Americans only.

I would be surprised if he didn't. The only issue that would prevent that is injuries and he has had his share of those.
