Remember the outrage when the Argos allowed Hamilton to pluck him from our PR? Maybe the Argos felt they weren’t losing much and decided he wasn’t worth activating. I’ve always said, it’s hard to evaluate talent based on college production, especially when they come from a powerhouse school that plays against considerably lower talent level most games.
Knight has had looks with 3 CFL teams now and has not stuck = perhaps he is one of those guys who was very good in college ball, but just can't cut in the pros; however - he was an all-Canadian DE in U Sports ball, but got converted to DT by CFL "thinking". Maybe he just doesn't have the size, strength and DT know-how to succeed at the CFL level.
And since you likely know little about other CFL teams rosters, nor much respect for their Canadian talent (pfft - good in U Sports ball top teams = useless for the CFL? - like Kurleigh Gittens or Dylan Giffen for example from the OUA? Kevin Mital - Hec winner? = pfft, just cause he played at Laval) - I'll let u in on the RedBlacks DT depth: solid veteran starter in Cleon Laing; backed-up by last year's draft pick D. Okpoko (played some last year and looked decent); and they this year drafted former Windsor all-Canadian DT M. Ageli - a 310 plus DT with huge bench press type strength. So maybe they were good with these guys over Knight; and that's how it should work with real TC competition. How's the Argos' Canadian DT prospects looking this TC? Mind you, anything the Argos brain-trust does is inscrutable football wisdom, to you anyways.
You really are sensitive. So you don't believe a player playing on a powerhouse team can be dominating against teams with talent cosiderably worse. It doesn't just apply to Usport players. Tons of players that look great on powerhouse NCAA teams also don't pan out in the pros. Colleged success at any level does not necessarily relate to pro success., But go on and take it personally. Keep quoting all AUS players that aren't good enough at the next level, and hang on to your anti Canadian bias theories if it makes you feel more like a patriot.

First win. Dusty Crum leads them to first unlikely win of year. Sets up meeting with Argos next week.

Just an overall horrible game to watch.

I think the weather may have been a factor.

It was a tough one to watch and the nightcap in BC wasn't much better.

Rainy conditions game: and a team is starting a not so great passing QB, but guy who is a run threat; and they have 2 good RBs to go with that. SO - they run the ball with all 3 being productive and pass way less ... and they win = gee, who knew.

Looks like Ottawa will be without both starting corners for tonight’s game against Hamilton.
Hamilton may have a very successful passing game, expect big numbers from Kenny Lawler.

Ottawa loses again with a Tommy Condell offense that employs a 5 yard throw downfield type offense. Hamilton piling up the wins against banged up teams. Hard game to watch.

I got frustrated watching Ottawa's offence and it was bad even with Dru Brown in at QB. They may have thrown 3 passes all night that were over 10 yards from the line of scrimmage and two of them were late in the game. The Redblacks seem to have improved their defence this year and I think that they defended the vaunted Ticats offence fairly well the past two weeks but their offence and special teams are killing them.

Dru Brown also has a habit of throwing off his back foot which has resulted in a few interceptions this season, you would think the Ottawa QB coach would be all over correcting this.
Not sure how Bob Dyce keeps his job after that game.
