They didn't get any players back today that can help them for a perfectly good QB? Its not like Maier is setting the league on fire. Whatever honeymoon period RD had in Ottawa is over. Can't believe fanbase is happy about this.

Duggan's UFL stats were quite pedestrian. He has never been able to translate an excellent college career to the pro level.

Chris Strevler played in the NFL - on a couple of teams - ipso facto, he is a superior QB to any and all CFL QBs of the past decade or so. Or do you not agree that all pro football coaches are inscrutable judges of QB talent. ?

Wow, that is a stunning trade. Kind of reminiscent of when the Argos traded Arbuckle and anointed MBT as the undisputed No.1, but at that point MBT had clearly outplayed Arbuckle and had the Argos in first place. What has Maier done to deserve such a vote of confidence?

Somewhat related, I'm increasingly convinced that Ott won't be able to sustain having two heads of football ops much longer. If I were Burke, I'd be polishing my resume.

Agreed. God Bless MBT, but when was the last productive season he had? With Toronto years ago? His ego could very well be writing cheques the Redblacks can't cash.
